Pictures of Miracle on Fulton Street You can see snow fall in New Orleans on the hour every hour from noon till 10 pm from November 28, 2008 thru January 4, 2009. Come check out the three foot tall fleur de lis ornaments and wonderfully decorated christmas trees. Santa Claus even has Comet and Cupid (Video). Admission is free. Live entertainment on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday located in the Fulton Street Tent. Local merchants serve up special New Orleans dishes in the Fulton Street Tent (from $6 on up). There is also face painting for the kids big and small. Official Miracle on Fulton Street goodies for sale at Santa's shop. You can also enjoy hot cocoa and hot toddies. In the tent you could pick up that special something for the football fan in your family. Get a picture taken with Santa for free when you donate an unwrapped toy valued at $10 or greater. Details:Photos will be taken on weekends only while Santa is present. During weekday hours, Harrah’s will create buck slips that will be good for one photo with Santa (to be redeemed on weekends) for each toy that is dropped off/donated. Hours for Santa and reindeer: Friday and Saturday: 6 to 10 p.m. Sunday: 4 to 8 p.m. There is also a special Santa mailbox to drop off your letter to Santa located outside the Fulton Street Tent if you are walking out to see the reindeer or if you are making your way to Ernst Cafe. Step into Harrah's Hotel for a complimentary Santa letter at the conceirge desk or at Santa's Retail Shop. When we went to the hotel, one of Santa's beautiful helpers was passing them out. Another reason to go to Harrah's Hotel is to check out the 7 foot tall Gingerbread Display. It took more than 500 man hours to put together. They used 144 pounds each of sugar, butter, and molasses, 800 pounds of flour, 600 eggs, a half ton of powdered sugar, 200 pounds of candy, and just 10 pounds of ginger. Imagine that!
