Suck It Saban

With the week off before the Alabama game, LSU maintained it's #3 ranking in the AP and BCS polls.

LSU did not lose the three first place votes they had last week, but Boston College created a little separation over the Tigers in the tight points race.

In an odd twist, Alabama moved up 5 spots in the polls from #22 to #17 with the week off!

There was a shake up in the top 5 in the AP

Ohio State, Boston College, and LSU maintained their prior positions.  Oregon leap frogged Oklahoma to assume the #4 spot and the Sooners fell to fifth.

The top 5 in the BCS remained the same as last week -- Ohio State, Boston College, LSU, Arizona State, and Oregon.  Oregon beat USC at home this past week and is the only other 1 loss team in the BCS top five.
