Oregon, Auburn, and TCU were idle this past week. With Boise State's drubbing of Fresno State on Friday, LSU was the highest ranked team to play on Saturday. LSU and Ole Miss participated in an old fashion shootout in the annual Magnolia Bowl. LSU slipped one position to number 6. Three SEC West schools are in the top 10 and four in the top 12 and five in the top 25. Six SEC schools are in the top 25.
