St. Augustine Students Jam in the French Quarter.
I went to the French Quarter to pick up a po boy and was treated to a mini concert put together by some students from St. Augustine High School in New Orleans. I was surprised to find out later that everyone performing was either a sophomore or junior in high school. Below is a video of the St. Aug. students playing Do Whatcha Wanna (some people call the song Do What You Want) as well as links for the other two songs they performed. Please enjoy.
Do Whatcha Wanna is a staple of Mardi Gras music. It quickly rose to that status back in the early 90s. Youtube version which is a poorer quality than this one.
