Like last year, there was a VIP party prior to the event with the opportunity to take your picture with the LSU Golden Girls.

There was also a silent auction with lots more items available than last year with most items being LSU themed.

The VIP party was catered by Galatoire's and was well attended.

The event is basically two parts with the LSU Wind Ensemble and LSU Symphonic Winds performing first.  They played Dance of the Jesters, Circus Bee March, LSU Rhapsody, and God of Our Fathers.  

The second part is the LSU Tiger Band performing traditional LSU tunes like Pregame, Hey Fighting Tigers, Fight for LSU, and the rarely played Tiger Rag as well as tunes played from earlier in the football season like Indiana Jones theme song, Rag Doll, and American Woman to name a few.
