If you look to your left as if you were looking to the marina, then this is your view pictured below. You can swim, snorkel, and have fun in the water at Lover's Beach. Since the water is clear you may be able to see fish when you snorkel or simply by looking down.
To see Neptune's Finger from Lover's Beach, walk to your left on the beach as if you are heading to the marina and then look right. This will be your view of Neptune's Finger pictured below.
If you head towards the marina, you will come across a couple of tiny unnamed beaches that the locals refer to as playitas -- little beaches. It is safe to swim there too.
There is also a rock formation that is a short swim out from which you can dive as pictured below.
At the Beach you can also venture into one of the small caves picture below.
There are no portable or permanent bathrooms at either Lover's Beach or Divorce Beach, but clearly people find a way when a call of nature rolls around. I suspect people have used these caves for those calls judging from the smell.
The area leading up to some of the caves can provide excellent protection from the sun. You can have the shade without compromising on the view of the Sea of Cortez as shown in the picture below.
At some point you will have to head back to Grand Solmar. Finding your way back is fairly easy. The climb over the rocks is not as steep as when you first go over from the Grand Solmar side
From Lover's Beach, you will walk back on Divorce Beach to the rocks that form a V in the picture below

A few tips to enjoy the water experience at the Atlantis:
I strongly recommend wearing aqua socks, sandals, or some type of water sandals. I tore up my feet on some sand in the pool and water rides. This oversight and subsequent sore feet made it difficult for me to get around during my stay.
I would get sunglass lanyards to hold the glasses. The velocity of some of these rides could cause you to lose your sunglasses. This happened to me and the person right behind me on a ride and fortunately one of the employees found mine about 20 minutes later. They made me take my sunglasses off on slides as you will see in some of the videos.
